GTS Hardcore Championship is a hardcore wrestling championship, which was contested under "hardcore" rules (no disqualifications, no count outs, and pinfalls count anywhere). In the later part of the title's history, a rule was implemented allowing anyone to challenge the champion at any place or time, provided a referee was present (dubbed the "24/7 rule"). The 24/7 rule was originally made by the late Crash Holly during his reigns as WWF/WWE Hardcore Champion in the late 90s to early 2000s.
After The Mark won the title for the first time, from Tony Emerald, Grim declared the championship would no longer be contested under 24/7 rules, so Tony couldn't win the title back.
On July 2nd 2017 the ("24/7 Rule") was re-invoked by Kurt Bale.
The current champion is Violence, who is his third reign.
